Gaer or Caer is a welsh word meaning fort or watchtower. Gaer Farm and Cottage has this Celtic name because it is situated at the base of the Gaer, a Roman watchtower over the valley. The view is incredible and it was truly a superb place to situate the tower as any ruler would be able to watch an entire valley and surrounding area. The view of the unscarred welsh landscape untouched by urban civilisation. |
